Yono App

Updated 24 October 2026.

Check the name and version

PlayDownload APK

Open the Android system screen for the new app. The label should be Yono. The version name should be 1.0.1. If either line is different, the icon is not the file this preview measured.

When to read it

Read it once, immediately after install, before you type a password or a code. Read it again if a chat message later claims you need an update. This preview has one version name. An update claim with any other number did not come from these pages.

You do not need this page to choose between Play and Download. That choice is already made if an icon exists. You do need it when two icons both look vaguely like the word Yono and you want the games one.

Where the lines are

Long-press the icon and open the app info, or open the system list of apps and tap the new one. The label is the name at the top. The version name is in the same panel, often near the bottom of the details. You are not looking for a package name, and this guide will not ask you to read one. You are not looking for a minimum system number.

The installer sheet, a moment earlier, already showed the label it was about to write. If you cancelled there because the name was wrong, you never needed the info screen. If you confirmed, the info screen is the permanent copy of that same label. Read it in the system language the phone already uses. The version name is still the 1.0.1 line, even when the surrounding menu words are translated.

Do this

  1. Finish a download that reached 2,569,509 bytes, or about 2.5 MB if the phone rounds it.
  2. Install, and watch the name on the install sheet. Expect Yono.
  3. Open the system app info for the icon that just appeared.
  4. Read the label. Yono matches. A bank name does not. Another rummy brand does not.
  5. Read the version name. 1.0.1 matches. Any other version name does not.
  6. If both match, open the app and use the mobile login. The check is done.
  7. If either line fails, leave that icon installed. Do not remove it as a step in this guide. Return to Download only if you still need the measured file and Android will accept it beside the other one.

The bank app fails this check on purpose

SBI YONO is supposed to show the bank’s name and the bank’s version, whatever those are on your phone. Failing this check is how you know you are looking at the bank and not at the games file. Keep the bank app for banking. The games icon is the one that passes both lines.

A phone search for “yono” is a poor sorter. It will return both. The info screen is the sorter. Do not uninstall from the search results. Open each info screen and read.

Pass and fail

Two lines on the system screen
LabelVersion nameResult
Yono1.0.1This is the measured file. You can log in.
YonoAny other textA different build. These pages do not describe it.
Bank nameThe bank’s own versionThe bank app. Leave it.
Another brandThat app’s own versionA different product. This file is not its update.

After both lines match

Log in with the mobile number, country code omitted. The app will not take a new email registration. When the code arrives, type it on the verification screen inside the app. Then the game directory is the useful next page, not another visit to app info.

If you only installed the file to see whether it was the bank, and the lines match, you still do not have to deposit. Closing the app is allowed. The version check does not start a game. You can come back to this screen any time a new file has been added since the last reading.

If there is no version line because there is no icon

The install did not finish. Go back to the file size. A short file never reaches this screen. A conflict message means Android refused to place the icon over something else. Read already on the phone before you download anything further. There is no alternate version name that slips past a conflict.

If the icon is there and the version line is blank or loading, leave the info screen and open it again. Do not guess 1.0.1 because this page hoped for it. The line has to be visible.

What the version name does not mean

1.0.1 identifies the file. It does not identify a bonus, a payout speed, or a list of games beyond the labels the game guide quotes. It is not a promise that a later channel banner carries the same number. Read the label and the version name on the system screen, then stop treating the download as a mystery. A phone that only shows a rounded size has not skipped this check. Open app info anyway.

Questions

Where do I read the version?

On Android’s app info screen for the icon. The version name should be 1.0.1.

The label is Yono but the version is different. Is it close enough?

No. This preview identifies version name 1.0.1 only.

Do I need the package name?

No. This guide does not use it. Label and version name are the check.

The bank app is also installed. Does that break this one?

No. They are different apps. Read each info screen and use the one that says Yono, 1.0.1.

Can the version move forward later on these pages?

These pages currently have one build. They do not describe any version name besides 1.0.1.
